I used some Japanese methods to make the cake itself, which ended up with an angelfood cake-like texture, except with a very precise amount of egg whipping. I made strawberry jam filling from scratch and maybe should put a little more pectin in it, because it was a bit wet in the end. And buttercream. It was fun and I think it turned out to taste ok, although not very pretty. Next time.</p>",
